ATU Dance Interest Clinic

We are excited to announce that ATU dance is hosting a college dance interest clinic.
The in-person interest clinic will be held on Sunday, February 8, 2026 from 4:00-6:00 pm. The clinic is open to all applicants that are interested in trying out for ATU dance. Participation in the interest clinic is highly encouraged for those trying out for dance this year, but is not required for the Arkansas Tech Dance Tryout process. There is a $30 fee to participate in the interest clinic.

Grades: 10th - 12th Grade, Current ATU Students, and Transfers Time: 4:00pm - 6:00pm Cost: $30 Payment must be made online. REGISTER

Location: Hull Building | Single Gym (1306 North El Paso Ave, Russellville, AR) located on the Arkansas Tech University campus

Clinic Material:

Game Day Performance Chants/Fight Song, Game Day Appearance, Kicks, Leaps, Turns, Splits, Jumps, and Tricks.
All necessary tryout requirements as well as position by position walk throughs of proper technique use.
Q&A with captains and coach about the college dance experience and any questions about Tech Dance.

What to Bring:

Plenty of water
Snacks as needed
Layers as needed to stay warm

Attire: We recommend jazz or tennis shoes, t-shirt, and comfortable shorts or leggings. Remember that coaches may be getting their first impression of you so you should be neatly groomed.
